We have all seen, heard, and read no end of press that focuses on the negative aspects of video games. Personally I'm a little tired of it, especially when my own experience has been exactly the opposite. If anything, killing people online with my dad has improved our relationship.

Here's my second app for the iPhone... instant messaging. Its still a little rough, but check it out. Its server intensive, so I'm limiting sessions to 10 minutes for now. Source is available, though its a little tricky to configure.

Andrew Dubber, who is on faculty at the University of Central England, blogged a link to a story critical of RIAA lawsuits. Paul Birch, a British record exec wrote him an angry letter, telling him that he wasn't allowed to post that kind of thing to his personal blog, because he works for a university that is funded by the government.

It appears that Nintendo have withrdawn the game so they can concentrate on more "mainstream" titles. The website at http://wii.nintendo.com/games_hammer.htm has also been taken down.

Analyst group Screen Digest has issued a report plotting the hardware futures of the Nintendo DS and Sony's PSP into the next decade. The group predicts, in their report republished at Gamasutra, that the Nintendo DS will reach sales of 112 million by 2011.

GM is moving full speed ahead with bringing hydrogen fuel cell technology to the street by moving 500 of their engineers from research and development to production engineering. The engineers and scientists will be working on integrating fuel cells into future vehicles.
