Two Africans appeared in a Singapore court Tuesday, accused of trafficking more than 31 pounds of marijuana â" about 28 times the amount that draws a mandatory death sentence by hanging. Singapore has some of the world's toughest and most thoroughly enforced drug laws, with a mandatory death sentence for trafficking more than 17.64 ounces of MJ.

Apple and Microsoft have always disagreed in how to display fonts on computer displays. Today, both companies are using sub-pixel rendering to coax sharper-looking fonts out of typical low resolution screens. Where they differ is in philosophy.

No restarting to use Bootcamp. Just select "Switch to Windows" from OS X, and your machine goes to sleep. Wake it up and your in Windows. You can do the same thing once in Windows to switch back to mac. VERY VERY NICE feature, no reason to use virtualization for me at least.

These days, âframeworkâ is quite a buzzword in web development. With JavaScript frameworks like the Yahoo User Interface library, jQuery, and Prototype getting a lot of attention and web application frameworks like Rails and Django getting even more, it seems like everyone is using some kind of framework to build their sites.
